1. Scope
This Policy applies to your use of the Backpack Battles mobile application and inapp features. It does not apply to services operated by third parties (e.g., Apple or Google services such as App Store, Sign in with Apple, Apple Pay, Google Play, Google SignIn, Google Pay, Google Firebase, Apple Ads Attribution). Their collection and use of data are governed by their own privacy policies:

2. 2. Information We Collect
We do not operate our own account system , and we do not collect, process, or store users’ personal information on our own servers. Game progress, configurations, and similar gameplay data are stored locally on your device. You can delete such data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app (this may permanently remove local saves).

3. How We Use Information
We do not collect or process personal data on our server. Apple/Google may use the data they collect to enable app installation, platform login, payments and fraud prevention, security, and advertising attribution/measurement, in accordance with their privacy policies and your settings.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple or Google under their terms and policies. For the precise categories of data collected, processing purposes, storage locations, retention periods, recipients, permissions, and optout/controls, please refer to Apple’s and Google’s published privacy notices and your device/account settings.
4. How We Store and Share Your Personal Data
Local storage by us: We do not keep serverside databases for Backpack Battles. Your gameplay data is stored locally on your device.
Certain personal information processed for account login, onetime purchase payments, security, advertising attribution and marketing purposes may also be stored and processed by our third-party partners (Firebase, Apple Ads Attribution) on their servers, in accordance with their privacy policies.
Only where necessary will we make available your personal information to third parties. Situations where this occur are:

Third-party partners that we collaborate with in providing the service of the Game, including app store that distributes the application and facilitate account sign-in and in-app purchases, Apple/Google act as independent controllers for data they collect via their SDKs/APIs. Please refer to their privacy policy for how they share data with third parties. We do not instruct them on how to process such data.

5. Security
We do not collect or store your personal data on the server. Your game progress, settings, offline saves, etc. are only saved locally. To ensure game operation and local data security, we implement appropriate security measures on the device terminal.
Ondevice protections: Local game data benefits from device/OS protections (e.g., app sandboxing, device/file encryption). Protections may vary by device model, OS version, and your settings.
Third-party Platform security: When you use Apple/Google login and payment, authentication and processing are secured by Apple or Google pursuant to their security programs and policies. Refer to Apple and Google privacy/security documentation for details. For security measures of Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution API, refer to their privacy/security policies for details.
6. International Data Transfers
We do not transfer personal data because we do not collect it on our servers. Apple/Google (including Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution) may transfer data internationally per their policies and applicable laws (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your Rights and Choices
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, most data subject/consumer rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD and similar laws (e.g., access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, opt-out of sale/sharing, withdrawal of consent) requests should be directed to Apple or Google for data they process through platform login, payments, advertising attribution/measurement and optimization.

Local game data control (on device):

You can delete local game data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app via your device settings. This may permanently remove local saves and settings.
If you contact us, we will make reasonable efforts to assist or direct you to the appropriate controller (Apple/Google) for your request where feasible.
8. Data Retention
We do not retain personal data on our servers. Retention of any data collected by Apple/Google (including Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution) is determined by those providers; Refer to their policies for specific periods.
9. Children’s Privacy
Backpack Battles is not directed to children under the age defined by applicable law in your jurisdiction (e.g., under 13 in the U.S.; under 16 in many EU Member States/under 13-16 depending on local law under GDPR-K; under 18 in Japan; under 14 in South Korea). We do not operate our own account system and do not maintain user databases on our servers. Access, login, purchases, downloads, and advertising attribution may be processed by Apple/Google under their policies. If you are under the applicable minimum age, use the game only with verifiable parental consent and supervision and, where available, through Apple/Google family/parental controls. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided data to Apple/Google via platform services, please contact Apple or Google through their privacy portals and/or contact us; we will assist where feasible.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you the updated Policy in the app or via other reasonable means before changes take effect. Your continued use of Backpack Battles after the effective date signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.

12. Language
Except where a localized policy is required by law, if there is any discrepancy between this English version and a nonEnglish version, the English version will control.
EU/EEA and UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Controller: We do not collect or process personal data on our servers. For platform login, payments, and advertising attribution handled via their SDKs/APIs, Apple and Google are independent controllers. If you contact us, we will assist in directing you to the appropriate controller where applicable.
Legal basis: Apple/Google rely on their own legal basis (e.g., performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent) for their processing. We do not rely on a legal basis as we do not process personal data on our servers.
Transfers: Apple/Google may rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers; please refer to their policies.
Your rights: Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and consent withdrawal regarding platform data can be exercised via Apple/Google privacy portals listed in Section 8.
United States (CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws)

In the past 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information of California residents within the meaning of “sold” and “share” in the CCPA. And we have no knowledge of any sale or sharing of personal information of users under 16 years of age.
If you are a California resident, you can direct your right requests to Apple/Google (including Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution where applicable) directly or through their portals for personal data processed by them, including right to to know, right to receive, right to correct, right to delete and right to opt-out of sale or sharing. If you are a non-California residents, you can direct your right requests to Apple/Google (including Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution where applicable) directly or through their portals for personal data processed by them, including right to to know, right to receive, right to correct, right to delete, right to Opt out of Targeted Advertising or Profiling, rights may vary in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, you may own part or all of such rights depending on applicable laws where you locate. Nondiscrimination: We do not discriminate against users for exercising their rights.
Brazil (LGPD)
We do not process or store personal data on our servers. For platform data processed by Apple/Google (including Firebase and Apple Ads Attribution), please contact those providers or exercise your rights via their portals. You may also contact us for assistance where feasible.
Japan (APPI)
For platform login, payments, analytics, and advertising attribution handled via Apple/Google SDKs/APIs, Apple and Google process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not process personal data on our servers.
Transfers to third parties/overseas: Apple/Google may transfer data to third parties and outside Japan pursuant to APPI requirements. Please see their privacy policies for information about the categories of recipients, foreign data transfer safeguards, and how to request details under APPI Articles 27–28.
Your rights: You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use/provision, and disclosure of records of thirdparty provision with respect to data processed by Apple/Google via their privacy portals. For ondevice game data, you may delete it via your device settings.
South Korea (PIPA)
For platform login, payments, analytics, and advertising attribution handled via Apple/Google SDKs/APIs, Apple and Google process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not collect or store personal information on our servers.
Overseas transfers: Apple/Google may transfer personal information overseas and will disclose required details (transferee, country, transfer date/method, items transferred, purpose, retention/use period) and obtain consent or rely on permitted bases under PIPA.
Data subject rights: You (or your legal representative for minors) may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, and withdrawal of consent with Apple/Google via their privacy portals. For ondevice game data, you can delete it via device settings.
